Born and raised in a Christian family in Bengaluru, Sadhu’s early life was steeped in musical influence, primarily from his father, a musician himself. Beyond his musical inclinations, Sadhu was also a sports enthusiast, showcasing his talent on the football field as a member of his school’s under-13 football team. However, his aspirations in sports faced a hurdle due to his short stature, which ultimately prevented him from making it to the state team of Karnataka. His artistic journey gained momentum in 1986 when he contributed as a rhythm player in the iconic Doordarshan TV series “Malgudi Days.” The following year marked the beginning of his cinematic career as a keyboard player in the Kannada film “Ondu Muttina Kathe.”

Sadhu’s breakthrough came in 1993 with his role as KungFu Kannan in the film “Shhh!,” a project that also showcased his talents as a music composer.
