INTERESTING BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Neetu Singh’s journey began in the picturesque town of Giridih, Jharkhand, where she was born and raised. The early years of her life were marked by profound loss, as her father, Krishna Deo Singh, passed away when she was merely three years old. In the wake of this tragedy, her elder brother and mother stepped into significant roles, taking charge of the family and guiding Neetu through her formative years. After completing her senior secondary education in Varanasi, Neetu returned to her hometown, determined to carve out a path for herself and contribute to her family’s well-being.
Driven by a desire to support her family, Neetu made the pivotal decision to tutor school students. This venture blossomed in 1992 when she founded ‘Paramount Coaching Centre’ in Giridih, catering to students from Nursery through to class 10. With a vision for education that extended beyond her hometown, Neetu later pursued a law degree in Delhi. Despite facing financial challenges, she persevered by providing private tuition while practicing law in various courts. This dual commitment not only honed her teaching skills but also fortified her resolve to succeed in the competitive environment of Delhi.
In August 2005, Neetu expanded her educational outreach by re-establishing ‘Paramount Coaching Centre’ in New Delhi, marking a significant milestone in her career. Her dedication to education garnered wide recognition, and in 2014, she published ‘English for General Competition – from Plinth to Paramount,’ which quickly became a bestseller on Amazon in the competitive exams category. Neetu’s expertise and passion for teaching solidified her reputation as a leading figure in the educational sector, admired for her innovative approaches and commitment to student success.
Beyond her professional achievements, Neetu Singh is also celebrated for her philanthropic endeavors. She actively supports various causes, including old age homes, children’s homes, and medical assistance for those in need. Her compassion is exemplified through ‘Paradise Children Home,’ an orphanage she runs in Delhi, which provides shelter, food, and education for around 15 girls. Additionally, she founded and directs KD Campus Private Limited, KD Publication, and KD Live in Delhi, all established in loving memory of her late father. Neetu has pledged to donate a fixed percentage of KD Campus’s earnings to support the underprivileged, reflecting her deep commitment to giving back to the community.
Despite facing adversities, including an incident in 2016 when she was assaulted by a lady bouncer allegedly hired by her husband, Neetu has remained resilient and continues to inspire others. In February 2024, she shared her insights as a guest speaker at the ‘Ideas Of India Summit 3.0,’ emphasizing the importance of allowing children to pursue their own dreams rather than imposing parental aspirations on them. Her light-hearted yet profound remark, “Aapne beta paida kiya hai gadha nahi” (you have given birth to a son and not a donkey), resonated deeply with the audience. In her personal time, Neetu enjoys traveling to distant places and dancing, showcasing her vibrant personality and zest for life beyond her professional pursuits.
