This enthusiasm led her to study the traditional Lavani dance form during her school years, igniting a lifelong commitment to the craft. After completing her training, Megha not only showcased her talents on various stages for the past two decades but also took on the role of an educator. Through her efforts, she has introduced countless students to the beauty of Lavani and other Maharashtrian folk dances at her own Meghmalhar Dance Academy in Andheri, Mumbai.
Megha’s journey into the world of acting began in 2004 with her debut role as Soundarya Jawalkar in the Marathi film “Pachhadlela.” This marked the start of a promising career in film that has seen her appear in several popular titles, including “Maherchi Maaya” and “Ghar Doghanch” in 2007, as well as “Chal Dhar Pakad” (2010), “Yedpat Gaon” (2012), “Sukanya Tu Aahes Tar Mi Aahe Aamhi Aahot” (2012), “Navra Maza Bhavra” (2013), and “Popat” (2013). Her talent was further showcased in Kailash Mali’s directorial venture “Dandit” in 2017, and she continued to captivate audiences with roles in “Chalu Dya Tumcha” (2017), “The Power” (2021), and “Dombari” (2022).
