Mansi Maheshwari was born into an affluent family in Meerut, where her father runs a successful electric parts manufacturing company. From an early age, Mansi exhibited a strong academic aptitude, excelling in her studies and ultimately topping her school in the 12th standard examinations. Her impressive performance set a solid foundation for her future pursuits, leading her to enroll at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Delhi, where she studied knitwear fashion. This experience not only honed her creative skills but also ignited her passion for design and storytelling.
After completing her bachelor’s degree in 2020, Mansi’s interests took a new direction as she developed a fascination for animation. This newfound passion prompted her to relocate to London, United Kingdom, to pursue studies in animation design. Her time in London proved to be pivotal, as she immersed herself in the world of animation, laying the groundwork for her future career. Mansi soon found herself working as an animator on various projects, including the film “Leftovers” (2023), where her talents began to shine in the film industry.

This incident sparked her contemplation of the many lies that permeate society, ultimately shaping the narrative of her award-winning film.
Mansi’s creative process for “Bunnyhood” was distinctive; she employed ballpoint pen drawings and utilized cel animation techniques, crafting the entire film on A5 sheets and compiling it using a copier.
