Srishti Dabas’s journey into the realms of social service and academic excellence began during her college years, a time when she showcased her commitment to advocacy and community upliftment. While pursuing her graduation, she became an integral member of a research team supported by her college, focusing on the challenges faced by the transgender community in Delhi. This initiative not only involved identifying critical issues but also required her to devise innovative solutions aimed at fostering inclusivity and support for this marginalized group. Srishti’s dedication to social causes extended beyond her academic pursuits; she collaborated with Basera Samajik Sansthan, a notable NGO based in Noida, further amplifying her impact on the community.
Her involvement in activism was complemented by her participation in the National Service Scheme, where she took part in numerous workshops and campaigns focused on legal rights, health, and safety awareness. This hands-on experience in social welfare contributed significantly to her growth as a socially-conscious individual, equipping her with the knowledge and skills necessary to address complex societal issues.
